Karimikui

On the fertile southern slopes of Mount Kenya, the Karimikui factory stands as a beacon of quality within the Kirinyaga district. Fed by the crystal-clear waters of the Kii River, this station processes cherries from hundreds of local smallholders who benefit from the region's rich, red volcanic soil.

This selection utilizes the traditional Washed process, famous in Kenya for its rigorous standards. The beans undergo double fermentation and are meticulously soaked in fresh river water, a method that polishes the flavor profile to a brilliant, high-definition shine.

The profile is electric, bright, and intensely juicy with notes of java plum, black tea and florals.
