Jinotega

Nestled within the rugged Isabelia Ridge, Jinotega is known as the "City of Mists." This region produces the vast majority of Nicaragua’s coffee, where the high altitude and rich, volcanic soil create an ideal sanctuary for Arabica trees to thrive under the shade of native forests.

This selection comes from Various Farms across the district, representing a communal effort to showcase the classic Nicaraguan profile. By using the Washed process, the farmers strip away the fruit to highlight the "clean" character of the bean, resulting in a cup that is as bright and refreshing as a mountain morning.

The profile is classic, crisp, and exceptionally balanced with notes of cherry, apple and cranberry.

It is a quintessential Nicaraguan cup that is uncomplicated, elegant, and a true reflection of the misty highlands of Jinotega.
